DRESS CODE:
Members and guest are expected to wear appropriate golf attire at
all times.
- Denim (of any
color) is never appropriate on the golf course.
- Men's shirts should
have sleeves and collar.
- Ladies shirts
should have sleeves and/or a collar.
- Long pants and
shorts, knee-length, are appropriate.
- Shoes should be
golf or tennis shoes. Metal or soft spikes are determined by the
individual golf course.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
There are a variety of reasons why members may need to cancel their
plans to golf. We do our best to accommodate changes in plans, while
maintaining our financial integrity.
Keep in mind that
last-minute cancellations are costly and time-consuming.

Cancellation
prior to the reservation deadline.

after the reservation deadline but prior to 8 days before
the tournament date (i.e., by Thursday of the previous week
for Saturday tournaments and by Friday of the previous week
for Sunday tournaments).

if player finds own replacement. $10.00 charge if replacement
is found by club. Full fee charge if no replacement is found.

LOST BALL/OUT
OF BOUNDS:
In order to maintain a good pace of play, LA Golf Singles amends
the USGA Rules on Lost and Out of Bounds Balls.
- Consistent with
USGA rules, the player should hit a provisional ball from the
original spot if the ball is thought to be lost or out of bounds.
Penalty is one stroke plus distance.
- If the player
goes to his/her ball and finds it is out of bounds or if it is
lost and no provisional ball has been hit, the player should hit
a ball where the original ball went out of bounds or where the
lost ball was expected to be found. Penalty is 2 strokes.
