- Age 40
to 62, unmarried, and physically active.
- On regulation
(par 72) 18-hole course, score under 120 and play in less than
4.5 hours.
- Know
and abide by USGA Rules of Golf.
- Practice
good golf etiquette.
- Will
not smoke on the golf course and will be sensitive to non-smokers
off the course (membership is 98% non-smoking).
- Will
not have cell phone turned on at the course.
- Balance
the competition of golf with being friendly, polite, helpful and
patient with others.
- Have
own golf clubs, shoes and appropriate attire (collared shirts,
bermuda-length shorts or pants-NO DENIM).
- Interested
in making new friends and enjoy the challenge of playing new courses
with a variety of new people.
Members

California Golf Association membership, which entitles members

- Handicap
computation.
- Fore
magazine bimonthly.
- Eligibility
for SCGA tournaments held throughout the year.
