LA GOLF SINGLES was established in the fall of 1995 to provide quality golf events and social opportunities for singles in Southern California.

  • Membership is 50% men, 50% women.
  • Age range - 35 to 60...average is around 50.
  • Members from all over Southern California - Santa Barbara to San Diego.
  • All skill levels, except beginners. Must score under 120 on 18-hole course (no mulligans, gimmes - playing by USGA rules).
  • A non-smoking, "no cell phone" group.
  • Play twice monthly locally on Saturdays or Sundays. Weekend events in other areas (e.g. Santa Barbara, San Diego, Nevada) about every other month. In total, we have around 40 days of golf scheduled for 2008!
  • Generally 30 to 50 people attend each event. Play in mixed foursomes without regard to ability level.
  • Affiliate club of the Southern California Golf Association.
  • Follow USGA's rules regarding the game. Nevertheless, events are social and not highly competitive.
  • Dinners after each round of golf and a hospitality room during most out-of-town stays.
